Excellent shape with no scratches (see below for exception) or plating damage. On the RH dish there is a small dent (to small to measure and hard to see) coming from the bottom right were the name is. There is the faintest scratches in the same dish that would polish out. This Enchanting and Beautiful set includes the following. 1 Coffee Pot with Hinged Lid, Stands 12.5″ Tall and 11″ Wide. 1 Tea Pot with Hinged Lid, Stands 11″ Tall and 10″ Wide. 1 Creamer, stands 7″ Tall and 5.5″ Wide. 1 Sugar with Removable Lid, Stands 8.25″ Tall and 8″ Wide. 1 Waste Bowl, Stands 3.5″ Tall and 6″ Wide. 1 Serving Tray, Measures 29.75″ x 20.75″. All measurements are approximate and are taken at tallest and widest part. The tray does have a scratch. No dings or dents in serving pieces. There are signs of slight use. There is some patina. Needs to be cleaned a little. I noticed in my picture of the bottom of one pots that there were some dark spots on one. I did clean those off and they are no longer there. ANTIQUE “1794 A” REED AND BARTON and WINTHROP 5pc TEA SET. Antique Reed & Barton “Winthrop” #1794 A pattern tea set. This beautiful Winthrop, melon style tea set was chased and crafted by hand. A very time consuming process that Reed & Barton were known for. Soon after, they shifted to mass-production techniques in order to keep up with the competition. Reed & Barton itself dates to 1840 when electroplating was patented in England. When the company was manufacturing pewter ware, you will notice the pewter made lid finial. The makers of this decorative pot, added the hand chased vines and leaves giving the impression of a pumpkin sitting in a patch to the viewer. Condition is good considering its age of over 150 year old. Cone shaped foot to this set predates the four foot from later designs. Waste bowl does have small area of missing plating.
