This listing is for a lovely Victorian Period c. Measures 10 1/4″ high and 5″ wide. Weighs 2.0 pounds. The silver plated handle is decorated with an embossed pierced medallion at top (slightly off center, perhaps slightly bent). The handle is in very nice condition (see photos) with no other noted flaws. The unusual clear glass insert has an attached footed base with original glass lid. The glass is in good condition although there is a chip and small nick on upper rim (see photos). No other noted damage. This is a very unusual pickle castor and even with the flaw is one that should be included in any Victorian pickle castor collection.
